Field Recordings

In this series, paper becomes a surface for listening. Placed in various parts of the natural environment —on the ground, among branches, on rocks— it is left exposed to the passage of time and the subtle actions of the landscape. It is not the human hand that intervenes, but the action of wind, rain, dust, insects, and time itself.

Each piece is the result of a quiet collaboration between the initial gesture and the natural forces that leave their mark. Wrinkles, stains, tears, minimal traces: involuntary records that speak of a link between the ephemeral and the enduring. In this way, traces made by nature itself remain — making visible its passage, its touch, its presence.
